Accountant, and graduated from the University of Buenos Aires. Extensive experience in the management of private companies related to port operations, transportation and logistics services. His professional activity was developed in Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil occupying positions of General Manager, Project Director and senior management. Experience in project management, analysis and evaluation of investment projects, negotiations with the public and private sector. Eduardo Zabalza has worked, among others, for the companies Roman, Grupo Murchison, Hamburg Süd, Bachtman, Montecon S.A (Uruguay) and International Container Terminal Services Inc. (ICTSI).

Cecilia Fernández has a degree in International Business (UCU) and a Master's in Economics and International Marketing from the University of Wakayama (Japan). For many years, Cecilia dedicated herself to different areas of international business (commercialization of beer raw materials, intellectual property services, among others). With a marked interest in adding value to the development of the interior of the country, she began to get involved in the issues of the Uruguay-Brazil Waterway, being coordinator of the Project "Strengthening of the Technical Capacities of the Uruguayan-Brazilian Mixed Commission for the Development of the Laguna Merín Basin". – Uruguayan Delegation (CLM-DU)“, financed by CAF Banco de Desarrollo. At the end of the project, she continued to collaborate with the CLM-DU on related issues. Subsequently, she was co-director of the Project "Preparation of a Roadmap to promote the Integral Development of the Cross-border Region around the Merín Lagoon". Currently, she is studying postgraduate specialization in Port Management and Waterways at the Buenos Aires Technological Institute (ITBA).

Senior executive with more than 40 years in the industry with cross-functional management experience in the areas of supply chain (logistics, industrial operations and general services) with a strong focus on sustainability and circular economy.

His career has been developed mainly in leading industrial and service companies. His professional career includes positions as Director of Procurement and General Services at TIM Peru and Director of Procurement and Logistics at Telecom Personal (Argentina), among others.

He currently works as a consulting professor at ITBA, supervising the organization and logistics of the subject. Likewise, for the graduate school he is co-director and teacher of the advanced certification in Port Management. Also, since 2015 he coordinates the "OLS" (observatory of sustainable logistics), whose main activity is the development of research and work on different topics of circular economy, sustainability, eco-design and carbon footprint.
